He went on to earn a tennis scholarship to Northwestern University, where he competed at the highest collegiate level and deepened his belief in tennis as a vehicle for discipline, education, and personal growth. After college, Roger built an exceptional career in the tennis industry, serving in leadership roles that shaped players and programs across the country. His career included positions as Head Professional at Saddle & Cycle Club, Director of Junior Tennis at Midtown Chicago, Tennis Director at Midtown Bannockburn and Midtown Chicago, National Tennis Director for Wellbridge and later National Tennis Director for Five Seasons Sports Clubs. In 2009, Roger transitioned into medical consulting and private equity, bringing the same vision, discipline, and leadership that defined his tennis career.
