A Tribute to Alan Schwartz

Alan Schwartz passed away on Dec. 2 at the age of 91. As founder Tennis Corporation of America and Midtown Athletic club Alan was a huge supporter of Tennis Opportunity Program.

We pay tribute to Alan with the planting of a tree in Israel to honor Alan. It is but a small tribute to an extraordinary man who was truly larger than life.  Alan’s generosity, mentorship and passion for tennis , and the players who he watched grow from childhood into young adults, will never be forgotten.  We hope that our organization and the students we sponsor will continue to do justice to and honor Alan’s remarkable legacy and do his memory proud.
